Off to Italy

I'm am so excited. I am getting ready to leave for a two week vacation to Italy. I have never been there and I truly need a vacation right now. This summer has been one of my busiest. I have been in full swing with my summer camp programs and selling my artwork at the Art and Soul gallery in Ogunquit, ME. I love that my art business is taking off, but I have been a bit overwhelmed trying to keep up with everything. I am very ready to slow down and enjoy the relaxed pace of long meals, wandering through the northern lakes region and Piedmont wine country, and being immersed in another culture. Kate is off to enjoy her fourth year at the Pleasant Valley Camp on Lake Winnipesaukee. I will miss her, but she loves camp and reuinting with friends from her past years there. She was a bit disappointed to be missing out on a trip to Italy, but hopefully this will be the first of many more European trips to come.

You spacey sister! You told me you were leaving on July 18 and would be away when I returned from India on the 21st! Here I have been missing you to pieces and thinking how great it will be to talk to you soon. I just left a voice message on your phone yesterday, and it turns out you were here all along.

My time in India was fantastic, challenging, rewarding and wonderful. I hope Italy is the same, minus the challenging as I know you don't need that now! Maybe the challenge of finding the perfect tortellini...
Well, I am bummed I didn't get to touch base with you this past week that I've been home, but hope you have a magical tour through the mother country.
Ciao bella,
Te amo,
Mona Lisa

Have a wonderful time. We spent two and a half weeks in Italy just about this time last year. It was a trip of a lifetime. Take lots and lots of pictures because you will come home and it will seem so surreal.

Wow I'm sooooo excited for you! You're doing so well :) Im also extremely jealous that you're going to Italy! lol. I hope you take lots of pictures. Oh I also have two questions for you. 1) how were you able to start an art camp? I mean, from the business side of things. Did you go to someone who did camps already? 2) How did you get into a gallery? Did you contact them or did they contact you. If they contacted you, how did they find you? lol, okay I am done. Sorry for overwhelming you :) Best wishes and congrats!
